Abstract
The genesis and the specifities of the historical development of international sporting activity are based above all on the progress within nations in respect of economics, education and culture, and are influenced by definite social, political and cultural necessities. By its nature, sport is a social activity of people and is dependent on the development of human society. Undoubtedly, the initial beginnings of international sport were the national systems of physical education and the English system of sport, which represented the first model of modern sport.
