Zusammenfassung
In diesem Kapitel betrachten wir die Lösung der parabolischen Wärmeleitungsgleichung div grad u + Q(x, y, z, t) = cut in einer und mehreren Dimensionen für kartesische Koordinaten auf einfachen Grundgebieten und für die wichtigsten Randbedingungen (die Dirichletsche, die Neumannsche und die gemischte Randbedingung, Strahlung, natürliche Konvektion und das Newtonsche Abkühlungsgesetz). Unregelmäßig berandete Gebiete,nichtkartesische Koordinaten und nichtlineare parabolische Gleichungen mit ortsabhängigen Koeffizienten und anderen Eigentümlichkeiten werden insbesondere in Kapitel 5 und ab Ziffer 3.9 behandelt.
