Im vorigen Kapitel sind bereits Begriffe definiert worden, die zum Verständnis der Eigenschaften der Gele jedoch noch genauer erklärt werden müssen. Nicht jedes Gel ist als Säulenmaterial zur Gelchromatographie geeignet.
