Abstract
Bilharziasis is of immense antiquity and the clinical signs, symptoms and syndromes attributed to the infection are almost as protean as the papyri, parchments and papers on the subject. The present account is based on personal experience of urinary schistosomiasis in Kuwait and in Tanzania.
