Abstract
We have been able to show that the basal blood-pressure level and the presence or absence of certain complications are of great value in assessing the prognosis in hypertension. In the present study, some conclusions will be drawn with regard to the influence of treatment on the prognosis in hypertensive patients without Grade III or Grade IV changes in the retina.
