Zusammenfassung

Zu den Entwicklungsstörungen der Haut rechnen wir einmal die „Mißbildungen“ im engeren Sinne, die wir in Anlehnung an Schwalbe betrachten als „einewährend der Entwicklung zustande gekommene Veränderung der Form eines oder mehrerer Organe oder Organsysteme oder des ganzen Körpers, welche außerhalb der Variationsbreite der Art gelegen ist“. Dabei müssen wir jedoch über diese engere Begriffsfassung an manchen Stellen hinausgehen. Für unsere Sonderbetrachtung scheiden andererseits hier jedoch von vornherein alle jene frühzeitigen, im intrauterinen Leben auftretenden und meist mit anderen allgemeinen Entwicklungsstörungen verbundenen Mißbildungen der Haut aus, die das Absterben des Fetus bedingen. Hier handelt es sich vielmehr lediglich um leichtere, meist umschriebene, seltener schwerere, allgemeine Mißbildungen der Haut, die keine wesentliche oder überhaupt keine Beeinträchtigung ihrer Gesamtfunktion, auf alle Fälle aber keinerlei Störung des Gesamtlebens bedingen; eine klinische oder praktische Bedeutung kommt ihnen im übrigen nur vereinzelt zu.
