Zusammenfassung
Tageslängenmessungen dienen vielen Organismen zur Orientierung über den Verlauf der Jahreszeiten. Die Kontrolle physiologischer Reaktionen durch solche Tageslängenmessungen pflegt man als photoperiodische Steuerung zu bezeichnen.
