Abstract
This volume is the result of the interactions between the partners of the “Optical Interconnects” subgroup of WOIT. WOIT is the acronym for “Workshop on Optical Information Technology”, which is also ESPRIT Basic Research Actions number 3199. It was supported by the European Community during the period 1989–1992.
