Zusammenfassung

Die genetische Kontrolle der Fortpflanzung umfaßt zwei verschiedene Bereiche: Differenzierungsprozesse im Verlauf der Ontogenese (Bildung von vegetativen und sexuellen Fortpflanzungszellen) und das Zustandekommen des Sexualvorganges (Karyogamie und Meiosis). Das Zusammenspiel dieser beiden Kontrollfunktionen während der Evolution kann für die große Mannigfaltigkeit verantwortlich gemacht werden, mit der sich uns die Pilze heute in morphologischer Hinsicht und in ihrem Sexualverhalten darbieten.
