Zusammenfassung
Der erste Vorschlag zur Nutzung geostationärer Satelliten, d.h. Satelliten mit einer Umlaufzeit von 24 h, die über einem Punkt des Äquators quasi-stationär stehen, wurde im Oktober 1945 von dem englischen Schriftsteller Arthur C. Clarke gemacht (Zeitschrift “Wireless World”).
