Abstract
Beyond the applications mentioned in the preface concerning the management of projects, the models and algorithm proposed can be used in production planning. With production planning we refer to the preparation of decisions concerning the production.

The notion leitstand originates from the German language, it is to be translated as a control post or command center. The definition is given in the Lexikon der Verfahrenstechnik (cf. [100], p. 324).
Note, if more than one objective function is considered for the evaluation, then a multi criteria approach should be used (cf. [35]). However, in the current situation only a few systems exclude inefficient schedules (cf.[45]).
