Zusammenfassung
It has long been agreed among researchers as an almost self evident fact that new technologies have significantly and sometimes dramatically influenced the industrial and economic development in our society. But there is not the same accordance in the opinion above how the influence has taken place and why a certain technology has become dominant while others have failed. During the expansive 60’s the theory of “technological push” was frequently favoured and for long time the true base for many experiment on technological forecasting. But in the recession period of the 70’s the conception changed due to failing new technologies unsufficient linked to the market. The theory of “market pull” was introduced stating that the only successful technology possible is the one responding to the actual market demand. From the knowledge we have to day, obtained by more intense research we have become aware of the fact that these theories were far too cursory to explain the true and composite development process connected with chances for new technologies in modern industry.
