Zusammenfassung

Grundlagen der Therapie des atopischen Ekzems sind antiphlogistische und juckreizstillende Maßnahmen, im akuten Schub werden im allgemeinen Glukokortikosteroid-haltige Zubereitungen äußerlich und Antihistaminika vom Typ der H1-Blocker innerlich angewandt. Im Intervall sind sorgfältige Hautpflege und Hautschutz erforderlich. Die multifaktorielle Bedingtheit des atopischen Ekzems führt darüber hinaus zu zusätzlichen therapeutischen Ansatzpunkten [3]. Angesichts des chronischen und kaum vorhersehbaren Krankheitsverlaufes ist die individuelle Führung des einzelnen Patienten Basis allen ärztlichen Handelns.
