Zusammenfassung
Die Analyse des Sicherheitsverhaltens erfordert eine theoretische Fundierung, an der sich die Interpretation von Ergebnissen zu orientieren hat. Eine Theorie besteht aus einer oder mehreren begründeten und falsifizierbaren Hypothesen. Eine Hypothese stellt die Verknüpfung zwischen zwischen zwei Variablen in Form von Wenn-Dann-Aussagen her. Hypothesen können sich auf strenge Gesetzmäβigkeiten beziehen, werden aber im Rahmen empirischer Analysen des Konsumentenverhaltens häufig auf ihre allgemeine Generalisierbarkeit überprüft.
