Zusammenfassung
Im Gießener Universitätsklinikum sind zentrale Patientenaufnahme und Laborsystem seit nunmehr 11 Jahren in ununterbrochenem Routineeinsatz. Diese Systeme wurden in den vergangenen Jahren durch Subsysteme für die Blutbank, die Virologie, die Radiologie, die Hämatologie, das kaufmännische Rechnungswesen und die Materialwirtschaft ergänzt. Patientenaufnahme und Labor waren von Anfang an voll integriert. Die Vernetzung der anderen Systeme war nur begrenzt. Die Pflegebereiche waren in die Kommunikation zwischen einzelnen Systemen noch nicht einbezogen.
