Bei der Versorgung eines Patienten auf einer Intensivstation wird täglich ein Arbeitsplan aufgestellt; dieser Arbeitsplan umfaßt Pflegemaßnahmen, Diagnostik, Therapien, Infusions-, orale Ernahrungs- und Medikationsplane. Dazu benötigt man Angaben über Diagnosen, Operationen, aktuelle Probleme und Untersuchungsergebnisse.
