Summary

The film demonstrates the technique of pancreaticoduodenal/renal transplantation as modified by Corry. The dissection of the retroperitoneum in the donor and explantation of the grafts are shown first. The final preparation of the grafts, the vessels and the blind segment of the duodenum is performed in tabula. Finally, the revascularisation of the pancreas, the side-to-side anastomosis between the duodenum and the bladder and the implantation of the kidney graft are shown.

Zusammenfassung

Der Film zeigt die Technik der Pankreasduodenal-/Nierentransplantation in der Modifikation nach Corry. Dargestellt wird zunächst die Präparation des Retroperitoneums und die Gewinnung der Transplantate beim Spender. Die endgültige Präparation der Gefäße und die Fertigstellung eines blindverschlossenen kurzen Duodenalsegments werden anschließend in tabula durchgeführt. Abschließend wird die Revaskularisation des Pankreas, der Anschluß des Duodenalsegments an die Harnblase und die simultane Nierentransplantation dargestellt.
