Luxationen des Ellenbogengelenkes

Summary

In a collective followup study the results of conservative and operative treatment of luxations of the elbow joint were assessed. In all, 433 patients were fol-lowedup; 315 of them had a ligamentous injury, 225 flake fractures. Because of the amount of soft and bone tissue damage, 241 patients were treated operatively. The functional results of these operations were good in 90% and comparable to those in patients receiving conservative treatment. This confirms that operative treatment of elbow luxations has to be recommended in cases with considerable ligamentous and bone damage.

Zusammenfassung

In einer Sammelstudie aus 13 Kliniken hatten von 433 nachuntersuchten Patienten 315 eine Band- und 225 eine Knorpel-Knochenverletzung. Insgesamt wurden 241 Patienten auf Grund der Ausdehnung der Weichteil- bzw. Knorpel-Knochenverletzung operiert. Die funktionellen und klinischen Befunde (etwa 90% sehr gut und gut) sind mit denjenigen vergleichbar, die bei konservativ behandelten Patienten erhoben wurden. Dieses bestätigt die Empfehlung zur Indikation einer operativen Behandlung einer Ellenbogenluxation, wenn schwerwiegende Schädigungen der gelenktragenden Anteile sowie des Kapselbandapparates bestehen.
