Summary
Fractures of the femoral head are symptoms of different lesions. They are classified in
-
(1)
combination with posterior dislocation (Pipkin I-IV),
-
(2)
with anterior dislocation, as
-
(3)
fracture with head impression, and as
-
(4)
multiple fragments — fractures.
The patients had the following fractures: 39 (Pipkin I: 4×, II: 7×, III: -, IV: 9×; with anterior dislocation: 2 ×; multiple fragment fracture: 2 ×; small comminuted zone: 2; and 13 × impression with acetabulum fracture. The results show that in this kind of joint fracture an anatomical reduction with stabilisation is essential. In this way functional aftertreatment is possible and better results can be achieved.
-
1.
Fraktur kombiniert mit hinterer Luxation (Pipkin I-IV),
-
2.
mit vorderer Luxation,
-
3.
Kopfimpressionsfraktur;
-
4.
Pipkin I Verletzung: 4 ×, II: 7 ×, III: -, IV: 9 ×.
