Zusammenfassung
Die beiden peripheren Ganglien des N. vagus, das Ganglion jugulare und das Ganglion nodosum, werden im Hinblick auf ihren histologischen Bau gewöhnlich den Spinalganglien gleichgeachtet; solches scheint nach Abb. 84 in gewissem Sinn berechtigt. Trotzdem legen gestaltliche und physiologische Besonderheiten in den Vagusganglien es nahe, deren morphologische Gleichstellung mit den Spinalganglien aufzugeben und die Vagusganglien eher als nervöse Gebilde eigener Prägung zu betrachten.
