Zusammenfassung
Acetal. Diaethylacetal. Äthylidendiaethyläther. C6 H14 O2. Farblose, flüchtige, ätherisch riechende und bitter schmeckende Flüssigkeit, in 18 Volum. Wasser löslich. Entsteht bei der Oxydation des Alkohols und wirkt schlafbringend (v. Mering). Die einmalige hypnotische Dosis beträgt 6,0–12,0 in Lösung oder Emulsion. Findet kaum praktische Verwendung, da Acetal unsicher in der Wirkung, nicht frei von unangenehmen Nebenwirkungen und theuer ist.
