Zusammenfassung

Das hepatozelluläre Karzinom ist eine schwerwiegende Komplikation der Leberzirrhose. Über seine Häufigkeit gibt es sehr unterschiedliche Angaben. Dies liegt einerseits an geographischen Unterschieden, andererseits an den verwendeten Nachweisverfahren [1–5]. In Deutschland gibt es über die Prävalenz des hepatozellulären Karzinoms nur wenige Daten. Deshalb war es das Ziel dieser Studie, die Häufigkeit des hepatozellulären Karzinoms bei Patienten mit fortgeschrittener Leberzirrhose zu untersuchen.
