Zusammenfassung
Das stumpfe Bauchtrauma ist im Kindesalter ein seltenes Ereignis, ca. 5% der Unfallpatienten sind davon betroffen. Andererseits sind es immer wieder dramatische Verläufe mit einer Letalität zwischen 5 und 50%. In den vergangenen Jahren hat dieses Ereignis durch die Einführung der Sonographie viel von seiner Dramatik verloren, der Chirurg ist um einiges sicherer geworden, was die diagnostische und therapeutische Strategie betrifft.
