Aktuelle Therapie des Oesophaguskarzinoms

Zusammenfassung

Obwohl in den letzten Jahren erhebliche diagnostische und therapeutische Fortschritte bei der Behandlung des Oesophaguskarzinoms erzielt werden konnten, bleibt die Gesamtprognose dieser Tumorerkrankung schlecht; frühe Tumorstadien werden in wesentlich geringerer Zeit als beispielsweise beim Magenkarzinom diagnostiziert und operativ behandelt. Kurativ behandelte Langzeitüberlebende sind selten [2, 3, 6, 10, 19, 23].
