Multiple Sklerose im Kindesalter. Literaturübersicht und eigene Beobachtungen

Zusammenfassung

Während die multiple Sklerose zu den häufigsten chronischen neurologischen Erkrankungen des Erwachsenenalters zählt, stellt sie für den Pädiater zweifellos eine Rarität dar. Unter 4600 stationären Behandlungsfällen der Neuropädiatrischen Abteilung der Universitätskinderklinik Kiel war diese Diagnose nur in 7 Fällen zu stellen. Hiervon sollen 2 Kinder beschrieben werden, deren Erkrankung mit den heute zur Verfügung stehenden diagnostischen Methoden abgeklärt werden konnte.
