Pubertas praecox durch ein Hamartom des Hypothalamus

Zusammenfassung

Die vorzeitige Pubertätsentwicklung (Knaben < 10 Jahre, Mädchen < 9 Jahre) kann Ausdruck eines krankhaften intrazerebralen Prozesses sein. Meistens handelt es sich um Tumoren, seltener kommen ein Hydrozephalus oder postenzephalitische und postmeningitische Läsionen in Betracht. Als eine Rarität sind Hirnfehlbildungen im Bereich des Hypothalamus anzusehen [6]. Ein Beispiel für eine Fehlbildungsätiologie stellt unser Fallbericht dar.
