Zusammenfassung

Die häufigste Kombination myopathischer Symptome mit endokrinen Störungen findet sich bei Anomalien der Schilddrüsenfunktion. Auch der intakte Muskel wird in seiner Funktion von Abweichungen der Schilddrüsentätigkeit beeinflußt, indem unter Hyperthyreose die reflektorisch ausgelöste Muskelkontraktion „lebhafter“, d. h. rascher und bei Hypothyreose verlangsamt gegenüber der Norm verläuft. Die krankhaften Muskelveränderungen äußern sich in verschiedenen Formen [16, 22].
