Zusammenfassung
Lampenbürstenchromosomen sind Chromosomen, die sich im Zustand starker Entspiralisierung befinden und an bestimmten Stellen seitlich herausragende schleifenartige Strukturen ausbilden. Der Lampenbürstenzustand ist phasenspezifisch und reversibel. Lampenbürstenchromosomen sind in den Kernen primärer Oocyten vieler Wirbeltier-Arten und einiger Wirbelloser gefunden worden [10]. Es ist möglich, daß bei allen Tierarten die Chromosomen in den Oocyten sich in einem lampenbürstenartigen Zustand befinden, ohne daß seitliche Schleifen in allen Fällen zu erkennen sind. Lampenbürstenchromosomen sind auch in den Spermatocytenkernen von mehreren Arten der Gattung Drosophila gefunden worden [23, 24]. In den Spermatocytenkernen verschiedener anderer Tierarten sind von mehreren Autoren ebenfalls seitliche Fortsätze an Chromosomen beobachtet und zum Teil als Lampenbürsten-schleifen interpretiert worden [z. B. 26].
