Nach elektronenmikroskopischen Untersuchungen bestehen die Chloroplasten im wesentlichen aus Chloroplastenhülle, Stroma (Matrix, Grundsubstanz) und dem sehr unterschiedlich ausgebildeten Thylakoidsystem [119] (Abb. 1).
