Zusammenfassung

Neben dem antidiuretischen Hormon kommt den renalen Prostaglandinen (PG) wahrscheinlich eine Bedeutung bei der Regulation der renalen Wasserexkretion zu. So finden sich:

  1. 1.

    Eine hohe PG-Synthetase-Aktivität in den interstitiellen Zellen [16] und den Sammelrohrepithelien [13] des Nierenmarks.

  2. 2.

    Prostaglandin E hemmt die ADH-abhängige Wasserpermeabilitätsänderung an der Krötenblase [12] und im isolierten Sammelrohr [6].

  3. 3.

    Eine Hemmung der PG-Synthese steigert das renale Konzentrationsvermögen in vivo [1, 2, 8].
