Zusammenfassung

Plasmaaustausch hat sich bei verschiedenen Nierenerkrankungen bewährt. Das Prinzip des therapeutischen Effekts beruht wahrscheinlich auf der Elimination zirkulierender Immunkomplexe [1]. Auch die akute Abstoßungsreaktion nach Nierentransplantation gehört in diesen Formenkreis von Krankheiten, wobei der therapeutische Wert von Plasmaaustausch bislang nicht erwiesen ist.
