Zusammenfassung
Die vergleichende Untersuchung von Mikroaneurysmen der Netzhautgefäße bei Diabetes mellitus und Zentralvenenthrombose hat anhand von Netzhautflachschnitten ergeben, daß die Mikroaneurysmen morphologisch bei beiden Erkrankungen identisch sind. Offenbar führt die Störung des Kohlenhydratstoffwechsels nicht zu einer spezifischen Capillarwandschädigung, wie dies angenommen wurde. Die Mikroaneurysmen scheinen Ausdruck einer Durchblutungsstörung der Netzhaut zu sein, ohne daß die Ursache derselben ihren spezifischen, morphologischen Niederschlag findet.
