Zusammenfassung

Bei bestimmten Formen der diffusen tapeto-retinalen Degeneration kann nach dem ophthalmoskopischen, angiographischen und funktionellen Befund das Bild einer hereditären Maculadegeneration im Vordergrund stehen. ERG und EOG sind jedoch im Gegensatz zur hereditären Maculadegeneration nach Stargardt bereits im Frühstadium hochgradig reduziert. — Es wird die Abgrenzbarkeit zur zentralen Retinopathia pigmentosa diskutiert.

Summary

Ophthalmoscopic and angiographic findings in special types of diffuse tapeto-retinal degenerations may exhibit the picture of a macular degeneration. The ERG and EOG in these cases are highly reduced at an early stage, which is in contrast to Stargardt’s description of the heredo-macular degeneration. A possible distinction of the macular-type of the tapeto-retinal degeneration from the central retinopathia pigmentosa is discussed.
