Zusammenfassung

Bisher in der Literatur erschienene Berichte über elektropliysiologische Untersuchungen bei familiärer amaurotischer Idiotie betreffen vorwiegend das Elektroretinogramm (ERG). Danach ist das ERG bei der infantilen Form normal (Franceschetti und Dieterle, Copenhaver und Goodman, Bamatter et al., Vaughan und Katzman) oder gering subnormal (Bjelkhagen, Schmidt, Straub), bei der spätinfantilen und juvenilen Form subnormal oder erloschen (Copenhaver und Goodman, Schmidt, Klein und Hussels, Patton und Dekaban, Thiel und Behnke). Über Visuell Evozierte Antworten (VER) bei diesem autosomal rezessiven Erbleiden haben nur Vaughan und Katzman berichtet: Sie fanden bei einem Fall der infantilen Form das Fehlen der frühen Komponente des VER.
