Zusammenfassung
Aus den vorangegangenen Vorträgen konnten Sie entnehmen, welche große klinische Bedeutung heute der Leberinsuffizienz zukommt. Als Endstadium der Leberinsuffizienz ist das Coma hepaticum anzusehen. Ursache der schließlich zum Tode führenden Hirnveränderungen sind endogen oder exogen bedingte Intoxikationen, vor allem durch Abbauprodukte des Eiweißstoffwechsels.
