Zusammenfassung

Leberinsuffizienz kann willkürlich und nicht scharf in zwei Formen unterteilt werden. Die erste ist eine relative milde Leberfunktionsschädigung, klinisch charakterisiert durch Müdigkeit uud Appetitlosigkeit. Die Leberfunktionsproben sind abnormal. Die andere Form ist die schwere hepatische Insuffizienz, die klinisch hauptsächlich mit cerebralen Erscheinungen wie Encephalopathie, Präkoma und Koma [1] einhergeht und bei der hamorrhagische Diathese häufig ist. Das Krankheitsbild hängt nicht nur von den strukturellen und funktionalen Anomalitäten der Leberzelle ab, sondern auch von der speziellen Sensitivität des Gehirns. Es ist unter diesen Umständen besonders arzneiempfindlich und Niereninsuffizienz [2, 3] kann auch eine Rolle spielen.
