Zusammenfassung

Die protektive Wirkung von Mannitol bei drohendem akutem Nierenversagen [1, 2, 3, 4, 9, 12) ist hinreichend bekannt und wird in Form des sog. „Mannitol-Testes “ auch in differentialdiagnostischer Hinsicht ausgenützt [5, 14]. In Anbetracht der Tatsache, daß Mannitolinfusionen nicht in allen Fällen in der Lage sind [8, 14], die Ausprägung eines akuten Nierenversagens zu verhindern, schien es von Interesse, die zusätzliche Wirkung hoher Furosemiddosen zu prüfen.
