Zusammenfassung

In den letzten Jahren erreichte Fortschritte in der Diagnostik tapeto-retinaler Degenerationen im Kindesalter beruhen auf der routinemäßig in Narkose durchgeführten Elektroretinographie. Diese ist, wie es Franceschetti formulierte, für die Diagnose der tapeto-retinalen Affektionen unentbehrlich geworden. Insbesondere beim Kleinkind können ja subjektive Prüfungen nicht durchgeführt werden. Wir haben kürzlich bei neun Kleinkindern mit amaurotischer Idiotie durch das ERG eine Klassifizierung in spät-infantile und jugendliche Formen vornehmen können (Schmidt).
