Zusammenfassung
Die Pathogenese des erstmals von Huckabee beschriebenen Krankheitsbildes der ‚Spontanen‘ Milchsäureacidose ist noch nicht geklärt [1, 3, 4, 5, 6]. Unter anderem wird die Möglichkeit diskutiert, daß bestimmte Fälle von ‚spontaner‘ Milchsäureacidose aus einer protrahierten Hyperventilation durch ‚metabolische Überkompensation‘ der primären respiratorischen Alkalose hervorgehen könnten [7].
