Zusammenfassung

Für die Arrhythmieanalyse stellt sich einmal die Aufgabe, ventrikuläre Rhythmusstörungen, die Vorläufer von Kammerflimmern sein können (3, 14, 19, 25), rechtzeitig zu erkennen und anzuzeigen. Andererseits soll sie eine quantitative Auswertung vornehmen, mit der die Antiarrhythmika-Therapie objektiv beurteilt werden kann. Beides waren Gründe, warum in den 60er Jahren die kardiologischen Intensivstationen mit der Möglichkeit der permanenten EKG-Überwachung eingerichtet wurden (12).
