Zusammenfassung
Glukagon ist in letzter Zeit wegen seiner Wirkung auf das kardiovaskuläre System zu einer interessanten Substanz geworden. Neben den bekannten Stoffwechselveränderungen ließ sich im Tierversuch eine positiv inotrope und chronotrope Wirkung dieses Hormons nachweisen (11). Hierbei scheint es sich um einen direkten Glukagon-Effekt zu handeln, da er am isolierten Herzmuskel und am intakten Tier nach Beta-Rezeptorenblokkade zu beobachten war (2, 5). Die bisher vorliegenden Untersuchungen am Menschen ließen aus einer Zunahme von Herzindex, systolischer Auswurf-rate und maximaler Druckanstiegsgeschwindigkeit ebenfalls eine positiv inotrope Wirkung vermuten (1, 4, 6, 7, 12), was dazu geführt hat, daß Glukagon in den Vereinigten Staaten bereits therapeutsich in größerem Umfang eingesetzt wird.
