Abstract
Vascular imaging is an important aspect of diagnostics. The course of vessels, their calibre, ramifications and bifurcations, the direction of flow, its profile and velocity, are all necessary for assessment. They require good resolution in B-mode scans and high sensitivity in Doppler modes.
