Cancer of the endometrium

  • Chapter
CT and MRI in Oncology

Abstract

Radiological imaging represents a precious aid to the clinicians in the assessment of endometrial cancer. The positive diagnosis is clinical and histological. However, imaging could play an important role in the early detection or even screening in the future. On the other hand, it is currently only in the position to stage the cancer prior to commencing treatment.
