Abstract

OneVision-Image is an object-oriented image processing system. This means that images can be moved, rotated, and scaled on screen without time-consuming calculations. The ability to make such easy changes, however, may lead users to neglect making adjustments to important parameters such as image size and resolution. This can lead to low-quality print results and needlessly long processing and output times, which translate into higher production costs. This chapter focuses on avoiding such problems.
