Feature Generation and Classification of Time Series

  • Conference paper
Information Systems and Data Analysis

Summary

In the paper the realisations of time series are approximated by spline functions in order to reduce the number of features. The approximation procedure defines the number and the location of the joints. A special prototype classifier for features having different dimensions is developed.
