Abstract
Cooperation between the Medical Institute for Environmental Hygiene, Düsseldorf (FRG) and the Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology, Prague (CSSR) in monitoring health and development of school children, living in areas with different degrees of environmental pollution, celebrates its twentieth anniversary this year. Results of this fruitful cooperation have been presented in a number of joint reports and publications. (Dolgner, R. et al., 1971; Schlipköter, H.-W. et al., 1973; Schlipköter, H.-W. et al., 1986).
