Abstract
Arsenic is an everywhere occuring element that finds its way into water and soil by natural weathering and leaching. The most important industries in whose surrounding areas arsenic pollution is to be reckoned on are mining, coal refining and firing, coking plants and glass manufacture. The largest part of the particle bound arsenic in the air here consists of anorganic compounds.
