Abstract
As our last major topic in the construction of triangulations we consider the triangulation S + which is obtained by modifying S in the region Gn × [0,1]. S + and S restricted to Gn × [1,+∞) agree. However, S + naturally restricted to Gn × [0,1] is the triangulation V which has been squeezed and sheared on level Gn × 1 to match S on Gn × 1, see Figure 18.1.
