Abstract
This paper raises some issues in the general area of multi-objective interactive programming some of which have been raised by previous authors. It is also a very abbreviated form of the original paper in order to meet limit requirements on page numbers. References are omitted to enable the appropriate points to be included. In order to keep the matter simple I will begin by making certain assumptions. (i) There is an implicitly, or explicitly, specified real (actually available) set X of feasible actions. (ii) There exist m identifiable objective functions, Γ= {fi}. (iii) Γ is fixed. (iv) If the decision makerisvresented with a pair {f,f’} with f≧f’ then f will be at least as good as f’ for the decision maker.
