Die Notwendigkeit einer cardiopulmonalen Wiederbelebung findet sich nach Erfahrungsberichten verschiedener Notarztzentren [2, 4, 5, 7, 10, 12] überwiegend in der Folge akuter Erkrankungen. Sie macht einen optimalen Einsatz des Notarztteams erforderlich und laßt naturgemäß auch die Frage ihrer Effektivität laut werden.
